The Sunrise Christian Academy Pre-K program is designed to provide children ages 4-5 with a good start into education. We are committed to providing excellence in academic standards within a Christ-centered environment.

Pre-K students use A Beka curriculum.

• Phonics and Reading - Students will learn their letters and sounds and will be engaged in reading by the time they complete Pre-K.
• Numbers - Students also learn to recognize, put in order, and count 1-20. Most students will be able to count to 100 by the completion of the year.
• Penmanship - Students will learn to print their letters and write their name.
• Bible - Students will have Bible time daily in which they learn the truths of God's Word and how to apply these truths to their lives. Students memorize a Bible verse weekly.
• Pre-K students are engaged in Music, Art, PE, Field Trips, and outside play.

Pre-K Hours of Operation

1. Half Day Program AM Class 8:30-11:30

The cost per year is $3500.00, plus $450.00 for books and fees. This may be divided into 10 payments. Extended care is $4.00 per hour. These classes are in session the same dates as the Academy, although childcare is available (at an extra charge) on days the Academy is closed.

2. All Day Program 8:30 am - 3:20 pm

The cost per year is $6000.00, plus $550.00 for books and fees. Extended care is $4.00 per hour. These classes are in session the same dates as the Academy, although childcare is available ( at an extra charge) on days the Academy is closed.

3. Extended Day Program 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

This program includes before and after school care. The cost is $175.00 a week. Childcare is closed for the following holidays: New Year's, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, and Christmas.
