Pre-Kindergarten at Sunrise

Our Pre-K program is designed to provide children ages 4-5 with a good start into education. We are committed to providing excellence in academic standards within a Christ-centered environment.

Program Options

Part Time Program - 8:30 AM -11:30 AM

The cost for our Part Time Day Program is $140 per week. This program is in session the same dates as the Academy, although childcare is available (at an extra charge) on days the Academy is closed. Books and snacks are included with this price.

Full Time Program - 10 Hour Day (you pick 6:30 AM -6:00 PM)

The cost for our Full Time Program is $200 per week. This program is in session every day except for the days stated in our Childcare Parent Handbook. Children must be in their classrooms by 8:30 AM or they will be considered tardy. The school day ends at 3:15 PM. Before and After school care, books, snacks and lunch are included.

Pre-K Application

Our Curriculum

We use curriculum and focus on:

Phonics and Reading - Students will learn their letters and sounds and will be engaged in reading by the time they complete Pre-K.

Numbers - Students also learn to recognize, put in order, and count 1-20. Most students will be able to count to 100 by the completion of the year.

Penmanship - Students will learn to print their letters and write their name.

Bible - Students will have Bible time daily in which they learn the truths of God's Word and how to apply these truths to their lives. Students memorize a Bible verse weekly.
Pre-K students are engaged in Music, Art, PE, Field Trips, and outside play.
